A Fintech Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention for a financial technology company’s products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the fintech landscape, digital marketing, and customer behavior in financial services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Campaigns Management
    • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.
    • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and SEO.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
  • Content Creation
    • Create compelling content that educates and engages target audiences, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media updates.

    • Collaborate with designers and other content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Analyze data and insights to inform marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.
    • Supporting the business development team through direct marketing outreach campaigns.
  • Brand Management
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and oversee their application in all marketing activities.
    • Be companies spokesman at different events, through active social media engagement and through conference attendance.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Track, measure, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and demonstrate the impact on business goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
    • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
    • Proficiency in marketing analytics and data analysis.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and other online marketing techniques.
    • Excellent spoken & written English (knowledge of German or French is a great plus)
    • Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.
    • Responsive with good communication skills working in a multicultural environment.
    • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
