Team and Role Overview

Marvelsoft is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join the Trademind Product team as Product Manager.

People & Processes

• Manage work with UI/UX counterparties
• Help manage the people helping with requirements taking and scope capturing processes
• In case of expansion,help manage a team of developers as a Team Lead
• Assist Head of Development with the dev processes optimisation and KPIs tracking
• Manage and define requirements taking and scope capturing processes

Responsibilities:

Technology Management

• Assist with architecting the technical approaches and product design
• Participate and contribute in new technologies stack selection processes
• Drafting and defining the product indicative implementation plans.

Business/Product Analysis

• Breakdown TradeMind needed components by business and importance priorities
– Suggest the breakdown of effort needed based on knowledge of our current TradeMind solution

Alignment

• Participate in regular alignments with Head of Development and Team Leads
– Align in regards to the project milestones and progress
– Discuss and help resolve obstacles working against the set milestones
– Assist with architecting the technical approaches and product design
– Assist with market/data, SDMA workflows handling – advise the team
• Work on product strategy based on business initiatives & regulatory/market practices (align with legal)

Roadmapping

• Draft and propose indicative products roadmap
• Outline major milestones and draft a simulated phase-by-phase roadmap

Scope capturing and requirements

• Gather requirements and perform scope capturing both on-site and off-site
– Gather feedback from clients (test pilots) for the latest development branch of the product (current version)
• Actively engage with clients and prospects to fully understand their business needs
– Make sure to clearly translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirement (in cooperation with TAMs and BAMs)

General

• Setup, support and manage all engineering productivity systems, tools, and infrastructure for the Trademind Product team
• Design and maintain automation for continuous integration to support the build and release process for the global distribution of the Trademind Product
• Investigate tools and processes to improve the reliability, stability, and efficiency of build and releases processes
• Work closely with development team to implement new build processes and strategies to meet new product requirements

Skills and Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and data structures in C++programming language
• Good knowledge of unit testing (Google Tests)
• Good knowledge of SQL Databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Good knowledge of source control tools (git)
• Basic knowledge of build systems for C++
• Basic knowledge of concurrent models
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS (command line)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work well within a team

At least one years experience in developing financial algorithms products and one year of experience managing financial algorithm products with development teams.

Below experience is desired but not essentially required:

• System programming knowledge
• Actor concurrent model (eg. CAF)
• State machine design (SML)
• Modern C++ (17, 20) & boost libraries
• Using RocksDB, InfluxDB
• Understanding Gitlab CI/CD
• Python development
• Knowledge of Bash scripts
